Volume 8, Number 6 - Winter 1984

President's Message

Greetings to all my fellow White River Valley Historical Society members:

Spring is just around the corner and we have put behind us a very hot and dry summer and the coldest December on record.

But the people here in the Ozarks are not easily discouraged. So, once again it is time to get on with the business of promoting our fine society.

With each of us doing our best to keep our organization strong and active and the historical information accurate and interesting, we will continue to perpetuate the principles on which this Society was founded.

The best way to accomplish this is to attend the meetings and to submit articles to the Quarterly for all to enjoy.
