Marcella JOHNSTON 2820 Swan Hill Road, Rose-burg, OR 97470 asks who was Benjamin F. (Dine) TURLEY’S wife number 1? He was born in Indiana in 1821 and died in Ozarks Co., MO, in 1901 (Buried in Turnbo Cemetery). Her name was Louisa born about 1830 in IN and died about 1853/56 in Ozark Co. They lived on Bratton’s Spring Creek. Children, all born in Ozark Co., were: Luke, born about 1846; Ignatius (Nace) born about 1848; Luvinia, born about 1851, died 1903, Creek Co., OK, married #1 Isaac JOHNSON and #2 Robert L. HOLMES; Charles W. (Wid) born about 1853 and died Broken Arrow, OK, married Martha MARTIN. Would like to correspond with any descendants of these families and will share information.

Rhoda J. MORLEY, 3215 Hwy 441 N. Okeechobee, FL 34972 would like to correspond with any descendants ofJackson HODGES born about 1815 in TN and went to Greene County, MO, in the early 1840’s. His children were: John W., Mary Ann, William H. and Rachel E. She needs proof that Jackson is a brother of John HODGES that settled in Swan Township, Taney County, MO, in 1839. Rhoda would also like to have information about a keel boat called "WHITE RiVER SWAN" that was constructed by the merchants of Forsyth in the 1840’s to bring goods and groceries up the White River.
