Betty C. Gill, 2321 Felicia, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 needs information regarding the James DUNN family appearing on the 1880 Stone County census. Wants to find marriage record for DUNN and Amanda Elizabeth REAMS who are also listed on the same census. Would like to correspond with anyone researching these same names.

Joy EVANS, Route 3-Box 236, Nevada, MO 64772 is wanting information on the OWENS, GAROUTTE, PARKER, MOULDER, and ARMS/ARMES families. Will exchange.

Henry OWENS and wife, Catherine, moved to Greene County in 1837 from Rhea Co., TN. Census shows 5 boys & 2 girls. Known children were: Alexander C, Andrew, Richard W., & Emsley, and daughter, Alley, who married a Smith.

The GAROUTTE family was James C. in the 1850 census. Daughter, Nancy, married Richard OWENS.

John H. PARKER and wife, Elizabeth SNELSON, are listed in the 1830 census of Rhea Co. TN and the 1850 census of Boone Co. AR. John was born in 1804 in N.C. Also, need information on the SNELSONS in TN, AR & MO.

The MOULDER family was in TN before moving to MO & AR. Samuel MOULDER and wife, Nancy LUSTER are buried near Denver, AR. Need more on this family.

The ARMS/ARMES family came from TN and are in the 1860 census of Boone Co. AR. William ARMES wife, Rebecca, had the following children: John A., Nancy A., Mary E. (mine), William E., James N., and Joseph.

Most of these families moved on to OK and TX. Any help appreciated.

Opal PARISOTTO, 1034 Laurel Klamath Falls, OR 97601 needs birth and death information of John A. and Sarah WEATHERMAN MATTHEWS, who came to Missouri from Illinois in the early 1830’s. Their eldest daughter, Mary Elizabeth, married Richard H. HILL in their home in 1846 in Taney County. In 1880 in Christian County, Sarah was a 73 year old widow living with her son, John A. MATTHEWS, JR. She was still living when son died in 1889. Will exchange information with any interested family.

Grateful appreciation is extended to member Janice Looney for the gift of Taney County, Marriages 1908-1913 and for the 1880 Taney County census. This work involved many hours of copying and proofing and it will be a big help in family research.

Wanda ARNOLD, 55 13-73rd, Lubback, TX 79424 would like to hear from anyone researching FENNEY and McMAHAN. The McMAHAN would probably be from Wright Co, MO and FENNEY from Stone Co., MO.

79704, requests help concerning his family. Grandfather was Daniel BLACKWELL. Married Mary Frances FISHER (no date or place given). Father was Owen BLACKWELL, the eldest of 7 children, born in Forsyth, MO 22 January 1882. Family later moved to Oklahoma, settling around Tahlequah.
