"Silas Turnbo and His Work" by Lynn Morrow
Lynn Morrow, Director of the Local Records Preservation Program of the Missouri State Archives, has co-edited with James F. Keefe a recent volume, The White River Chronicles of S.C. Turnbo: Man and Wildlife on the Ozarks Frontier, published by the University of Arkansas Press, Fayetteville. Lynn will talk about Turnbo, his times, and his collections.
Society members and guests will arrive shortly after the noon hour to enjoy fellowship and lunch served by buffet or table service in the banquet room. College help is available to carry trays, so come join us for conversation prior to the meeting.
