Now at this day comes J.A. Patterson Sheriff of Greene County and presents a Deed made by him to James W. Peacher and B.L.Z. Ingram for the following real estate all of that part of SW and W 1/2 of SE Section 27 Township 29 Range 22W lying and being situate North of Richland Creek or B.J. Nowlins Spring Branch supposed to contain one hundred acres sold under and by virtue of an order of sale for partition in the above entitled cause and the said Sheriff acknowledged that he executed and delivered the same for the uses therein contained.

Now at this day comes J.A. Patterson Sheriff of Greene County and presents a Deed made by him to Eliza Morris for the following real estate viz Lot 4 Block 2 in Walnut Grove, Greene County, Missouri, sold under and by virtue of two executions in the above entitled causes and the said Patterson acknowledged that he executed the same for the uses and purposes therein specified.

Patterson Sheriff of Greene County and presents a Deed made by him to the Bank of Missouri for the following real estate SE 1/4 SW 1/4 except ten acres on the NE Corner of said SE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 23 Township 31 Range 24 sold under and by virtue of two executions in the above entitled causes and the said Patterson acknowledged that he executed the same for the uses therein contained.

Now at this day comes J.A. Patterson Sheriff of Greene County and presents a Deed made by him to E.L. Robberson for the following real estate viz SW 1/4 and W 1/2 NE 1/4 and SW 1/4 NE 1/4 and that part of NW 1/4 described as beginning at the SE corner of NW 1/4 running thence West 134 poles, thence North 27 poles, thence East 134 poles, thence South 27 poles to a beginning. Sold under and by virtue of an execution in the above entitled cause and the said John A. Patterson acknowledged that he executed the same for the uses therein contained.

Defendant is a nonresident of the State. It is ordered that publication be made notifying said Defendant that the Plaintiff has commenced a suit against him in the Greene Circuit Court by petition in which he asks Judgment for one hundred dollars damage for the wrongful taking of fifteen tons of hay and that unless he be and appear before the Judge of said Court on the first day of the next term thereof which commences at the Court House in Springfield on the third Monday in January 1867 and plead, answer or demur to Plaintiff's petition on or before the Sixth day of the Term the same shall so long continue if not then before the end of the term the same will be taken as true and Judgment rendered accordingly and it is further ordered that said notice be published in the Southwest Union Press for four successive weeks the last insertion to be before the first day of the next term of this Court.

Now at this day comes the Circuit attorney and also the Defendant who for a plea says he is guilty in manner and form as charged. It is therefore ordered that Defendant be fined the sum of five dollars for the commission of the offense. It is therefore considered and adjudged by the Court that the State of Missouri have and recover of and from Defendant her said fine of five dollars and also costs of suit and that an execution issue therefor and Defendant remain in the custody of the Sheriff until fine and costs are paid.

Now at this day comes the Circuit Attorney and also Defendant by attorney who says for a plea he is not guilty, whereupon came a Jury viz A. Dumuth, W.P. Warner, S.N. Ingram, Levi Gregory, P.J. Wise, J.A. Routt, B.B. Havard, F.M. Thompson, T.A. Mills, P. Cantrel, F.E. Watterson, B. Samuel, twelve good and lawful men who being duly elected, tried and sworn on their oath say "We the Jury find the Defendant guilty in manner and form charged and assess his punishment at ten dollars." It is therefore considered and adjudged by the Court that the State of Missouri have and recover of and from Defendant her said fine and costs and that she have an execution therefor and that Defendant be and remain in custody of Sheriff until fine and costs are fully paid.

Douglas, twelve good and lawful men who being duly elected tried and sworn on their oath say they cannot agree which upon the said Jury are by the Court discharged.
