Travel through a world of stories this summer in the Library's annual Summer Reading Club. Stop by your nearest Library branch or bookmobile to pick up an official game board or download and print (PDF) one here.
By reading and completing the explorer-friendly activities, you can win a book, coloring stickers, a Fresh Start Fine Waiver Card and a Food 'n' Fun Flipcard of free or discounted items and admission offers from the sponsors listed below. Great for readers and pre-readers. The more you read, the better you get! Children who are read to learn to read more easily.

Online Activities
Try these online activities. Find more activity ideas on the "One World, Many Stories"

- Send a postcard to the children's department of your Library or e-mail oneworld@thelibrary.org.
- Make a passport. Get it stamped every time you attend a Library program. You can use the passport template in the Downloadables section of this page if you like.
- Read a book featuring another country. Check KidSpace for suggestions.
- Explore the Library's CultureGrams Kids database (valid Library card is required)
- Use COOLcat to find books, video or audio resources that will help you learn to say "Hello" in other languages.
- Listen to a story and play a game on Tumblebooks.
- Complete any of the downloadable activities at right.
- Download and listen to a book on Overdrive.
- Read a book from the Global Citizens booklist on KidSpace, then choose a cause you would like to support. Start saving pennies to help.
