ARTICLE_TEXT <p>The public is invited to a free screening of &ldquo;After the Harvest, Fighting Hunger in the Coffeelands,&rdquo; a documentary about seasonal hunger in coffee-producing regions of the world, from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Park Central Branch Library, 128 Park Central Square.<br /> <br /> After the 20-minute film, everyone is invited to stay for a discussion with Jeff Taylor, of PT&rsquo;s Coffee, and Shawn Askinosie, of Askinosie Chocolate. They will discuss their experiences in sourcing direct trade from coffee/cocoa farmers and witnessing hunger in those regions. <br /> <br /> The event is sponsored by the Coffee Ethic, next door to the Park Central Branch Library.<br /> <br /> For more information about the program call the Coffee Ethic at 866-6645.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

All Library branches will be closed and the Mobile Library will not make its regularly scheduled stops on Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.

September 19, 2011 — The public is invited to a free screening of “After the Harvest, Fighting Hunger in the Coffeelands,” a documentary about seasonal hunger in coffee-producing regions of the world, from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Park Central Branch Library, 128 Park Central Square.
