2012 Missouri Teen Video Challenge Under Way

All Library branches will be closed and the Mobile Library will not make its regularly scheduled stops on Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.

The Library Center and Schweitzer Brentwood branch libraries will not have phone service Monday, May 29-Tuesday, May 30, due to maintenance. Please call (417) 865-1340 for assistance.

2012 Missouri Teen Video Challenge Under Way

January 6, 2012 — Missouri teens ages 13-18 are eligible to enter the 2012 Missouri Teen Video Challenge for a chance to win $275 cash yourself and free products for the Springfield-Greene County Library District.

Make a short video that promotes teen summer reading at the public library and the 2012 Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) theme “Own the Night.”

Visit http://www.sos.mo.gov/library/development/services/2012TeenChallenge_EntryForm.pdf for more information and complete rules. All submissions must be received by March 21, so don’t delay!
