Eldon Reed and Roni Blanche Book Signings Nov. 3 at Library Center

October 26, 2012 — Two local authors will sell and sign their books from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Eldon Reed will sell and sign copies of his first book, “Indebted: A Novel,” a story about Jake Sorenson, a young doctor just graduated from medical school. For 25 years someone’s been spying on him… She’s his mother! Not the mother that baked him cookies, shopped for his clothes, or helped with his homework, but she is his mother.

Roni Blanche will sell and sign copies of her first novel, “Life is a Beach—After I’m Gone: A Novel,” along with her memoir, “Life Gone South (When I Ran Away to Live at the Beach and be a Writer).” When Robbie can't even think of one thing to get up for in the morning, she decides she is done with life. Through laughter, tears and lots of hugs, Robbie finds out she wasn't so screwed up after all in “Life is a Beach.”

Did you ever want to run away? Live at the beach? Be a writer? Chase a dream? Roni Blanche explains how she did all these things in “Life Gone South.”
