Prepare to Care: How to Create a Caregiving Plan June 22 at Library Station

June 17, 2013 — Having a parent or other family member preparing to enter or in longterm care brings about many questions regarding finances, insurance and more.

Nellie Lamers, University of Missouri Extension family financial education specialist, will talk about how to create a caregiving plan for aging parents or family members during "Prepare to Care" at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, in the Library Station Story Hour Room, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway.

The program, designed for employers and family members, addresses a five-step process and caregiving information resources.
