ARTICLE_TEXT <p>Engineer-turned-author Mike Stroder will sell and sign copies of his first book, &ldquo;Pulled Brain Muscle: Absurd Essays to Ease the Pain in Your Brain,&rdquo; from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.<br /> <br /> This collection of humorous essays is designed to stretch the brain and empty it of stress, thus helping to prevent &ldquo;pulled brain muscles.&rdquo; Take a pleasant yet absurd trip with the author as he explores lawn care with explosives, world domination, unique product ideas, office furniture racing, the world&rsquo;s first combined museum/quick oil change shop and many other concepts, enhanced with an occasional Excel chart, because that&rsquo;s what engineers do.</p>

August 14, 2013 — Engineer-turned-author Mike Stroder will sell and sign copies of his first book, “Pulled Brain Muscle: Absurd Essays to Ease the Pain in Your Brain,” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
