Halloween Fun at the Library

October 15, 2013 —  Child in costume Cute kids in costumes, a zombie prom and dogs trick-or-treating in the drive-through … you’ll find all of these things and more at the Springfield-Greene County Library District later this month. Toddlers, teenagers and adults can get in on the Halloween fun.

Evidence of Hauntings with James River Ghost Tracker
Saturday, Oct. 19
Midtown Carnegie Branch
1-2 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room for all ages.
See and hear examples of electronic voice phenomena (EVP), photos and videos of alleged ghosts, and learn about the kind of equipment used to capture the evidence. Debra Forrester, founder of James River Ghost Tracker, will also explain how the organization helps businesses and individuals with their paranormal problems.

Monster Mash Storytime

Who says Halloween is just for humans? Bring your canine family member(s) with you to Willard Branch Library's drive-up window Oct. 28-31 and they will receive their very own treat! Enter a drawing for a gift certificate to All Pet Supplies. Ask for a prize entry slip at the window or pick one up at the check out desk; drawing Nov. 1. Homo sapiens only in the Library, please!
