Joyce Wold Book Signing Aug. 23 at Library Center

August 12, 2014 — Huntley, Ill., author Joyce Wold will sell and sign copies of her books, “Sky High Victory” and “Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin,” from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Wold’s new book, “Sky High Victory,” is a short chapter book about 10-year-old Tim, who tries to outsmart a bully.

“Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin” tells the story of a gargantuan gorilla named Grayson. He wants to make friends, but it’s so hard. What can he do? See what happens when Grayson follows the simple advice given by a jungle creature and finds that it’s easy to make friends.

Wold will also have copies available of her first book, “God’s Creations.” Its tongue-twisting alliteration will challenge and engage children as they learn that they are the best of God’s creations.
