Joyce Wold Book Signing Aug. 23 at Library Center

Huntley, Ill., author Joyce Wold will sell and sign copies of her books, “Sky High Victory” and “Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin,” from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Wold’s new book, “Sky High Victory,” is a short chapter book about 10-year-old Tim, who tries to outsmart a bully.
“Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin” tells the story of a gargantuan gorilla named Grayson. He wants to make friends, but it’s so hard. What can he do? See what happens when Grayson follows the simple advice given by a jungle creature and finds that it’s easy to make friends.
Wold will also have copies available of her first book, “God’s Creations.” Its tongue-twisting alliteration will challenge and engage children as they learn that they are the best of God’s creations.
