Jerry Wible “Gene Therapy to Die For” and Connie Yen “Springfield” Book Signings Nov. 22 at Library Center

November 12, 2014 — Local authors Jerry Wible and Connie Yen will sell and sign copies of their books from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Jerry Wible will sell and sign copies of his book, "Gene Therapy to Die For." The fictional thriller follows a beginning epidemiologist at the National Institutes of Health as he is left to decipher what his now dead boss had gotten them into – research tying the organization to a Ukrainian mob boss.

Historian Connie Yen will sell and sign copies of her book, “Springfield,” part of Arcadia Publishing’s Postcard History Series. The book uses historic postcards, including many from the Springfield-Greene County Library District’s collection, to illustrate the community’s growth.
