Allan Thompson Book Signing Dec. 6 at Library Center

December 1, 2014 — Springfield author and chaplain Allan Thompson will sell and sign copies of his books, “‘Tis Grace: A Story of God’s Redemption” and “What Salvation Is” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

In “‘Tis Grace,” Thompson candidly tells of his struggles with insecurity, which led to his alcoholism, and his continuing struggles with poor self-esteem and other issues even after his conversion to Christianity.

In “What Salvation Is,” Thomson shares what he has learned through the telling of God’s saving work in the life of the Apostle Paul and writes of God’s involvement in the lives of some well-known Christians through the centuries.
