Michelle Goldsberry “Wishes” Book Signing Aug. 15 at Library Center

Author Michelle Goldsberry will sell and sign copies of her new book, “Wishes,” from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Most people look up to the stars and wish for things every night. Yet when we whisper our wish, we don’t think any more about the process of it coming true. In “Wishes,” Cale, an inquisitive 5-year-old, questions wishes and how they are made in the stars. Cleverly answering all his questions, his mama is telling him the story of adopting him and the power of believing.
Goldsberry will also have copies available of her first book, “Life Series: First Day,” in which young Maddie encounters a hurtful kindergarten she-bully on her first day of school.
