See Arkansas Nightscapes Through the Lens of Tim Ernst
May 19, 2016 — All ages are invited to see a slide show of Arkansas Nightscapes Through the Lens of Tim Ernst at 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, in the Library Center auditorium.
Witness how stunning Arkansas is at night. Follow Arkansas native nature photographer Tim Ernst as he roams blufftops, swamps, waterfalls and deep forest areas in the dark to find the most beautiful and unusual scenes that most people never get to see.
Tim has been hiking, driving and photographing the Ozark Mountains for most of his life.
His work has appeared in hundreds of publications including National Geographic, Audubon, Backpacker, Outside and Outdoor Photographer; Sierra Club and Hallmark calendars, National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service maps and brochures. He also teaches digital photography workshops in the Buffalo National River, Ark., wilderness.
Tim has received numerous awards for volunteer service dedicated to trail and wilderness preservation. He is the author of more than a dozen hiking trail guidebooks “The Ozark Highlands Trail Guide” and “Buffalo River Hiking Trails,” and 14 collections of his wilderness photographs have been published as coffee table picture books.
He will sell and sign his photographs and books before and after the show.
