Great Ideas come 10 Minutes at a Time with Four on the Floor

Four Springfieldians will share their thoughts and experiences on building a better community at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, in the Library Center auditorium, for adults.
The four guests will focus on Springfield and southwest Missouri in 10-minute "TED-style" talks followed by five minutes of audience Q&A.
Presentations include:
· "Compassion Through Action" by Amy Blansit, chair of the Drew Lewis Foundation at the Fairbanks;
· "Smart Cities Build Better Communities Through the Use of Data Analytics" by Jeremy Clopton, BKD Director of Big Data & Analytics, Digital Forensics, and instructor at the Management Development Institute at Missouri State University;
· "What's Your Green Dot? How Springfield Area Colleges are Changing Campus Cultures" by Jenay Lamy, MSU Green Dot Program Coordinator;
· "The Communion of Art" by Patrick Mureithi, documentary filmmaker and singer-songwriter.
The event is sponsored by the Springfield-Greene County Library District, City of Springfield, Missouri State University and the Management Development Institute at MSU.
