  • Library Station - Author Talk with Steve Yates
    2 p.m. in the Santa Fe Room for adults.
    Springfield native and author Steve Yates will read from and talk about the research involved in creating his new novel, "The Legend of the Albino Farm," from Unbridled Books. Ozarkers today still ponder the legend of a farm supposedly inhabited by a family of albinos. Yates has crafted the legend into a horror story turned inside out. Books will be available for sale and signing at the event. Steve, who has won numerous book awards, is the associate director and the marketing director at University Press of Mississippi.
