    A clean home and a clean planet are both possible! Join Library staff members for a discussion of eco-friendly cleaning products and methods, including a demonstration and recipes to take home.

  • Republic Branch Library - Kevin Roth in Concert
    6:30 p.m. in the community room for adults.
    Kevin Roth's music, art and books have delighted audiences worldwide. His career spans more than three decades and includes contributions to traditional, original, contemporary and jazz influences. His latest CD, "Awakenings," features Roth on piano and dulcimer. Noel Paul Stookey, of Peter, Paul and Mary, co-produced the recording, which Stookey described as "jaw-droppingly beautiful." CDs and children's books will be available for purchase.

    10 a.m.-noon in the community room for adults.
    Create a Facebook account or use your existing account in this hands-on class. Learn how to personalize your account, review privacy settings, manage your friends, post to your own timeline, and "Like" and comment on other people's posts. A valid email address is required to create a Facebook account; have your email address and Facebook password available if you wish to use your existing account in class. Prerequisites: Experience using keyboard and mouse. Registration starts April 1; call 732-7284.
  • Republic Branch Library - Edge Mobile Class: Learn it! Self-Paced Tutorials
    1-3 p.m. in the community room for adults.
    You can choose what you want to learn and go at your own speed with our self-paced tutorials. We provide the computer and you select from a wide variety of lessons designed specifically for individual learning. Topics include basic skills, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Gmail, Photoshop and more. Both interactive and video tutorials are available to fit your learning style. We also offer computer-instructed keyboarding lessons to help you learn to type or improve your typing skills. Prerequisites: Some experience using keyboard and mouse. Registration starts April 1; call 732-7284.

    Learn about the new Windows 10 operating system including features like Task View, Virtual Desktop, and Cortana. Explore the Start menu and Settings menu, and use File Explorer to manage, move, and rename files and folders. Use tiles to launch apps and to access other programs on the computer.
