  • Strafford Branch Library - Racing to Read Storytime
    11 a.m. in the community room for infants-age 6.
    Our interactive storytimes introduce young children to books, reading and language with stories, songs and activities. Parents learn fun ways to build the early literacy skills their children need to learn to read.
  • Strafford Branch Library - "The Lost Girls: The True Story of the Cleveland Abductions and the Incredible Rescue of Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus" by John Glatt

    6 p.m. for adults.
    Our spring series will focus on true crimes involving missing people and will explore the answered and unanswered questions unique to missing person cases. Sip coffee and discuss the book along with podcasts or documentaries related to each title.

  • Strafford Branch Library - Summer Reading Kickoff: Build-It Bonanza
    11 a.m. in the community room for preschool-grade 4.
    Help launch summer reading with a Build-It Bonanza. A variety of materials will be provided for little architects to test their creativity through play and construction.
  • Strafford Branch Library - Build a Better Summer
    3 p.m. in the community room for grades 6-12.
    It's time to kick off the Summer Reading Program, so come by the library to learn about this year's program and how to participate, build your summer bucket list, cross off a few fun activities and tell us what you'd like to see in upcoming teen programs.
