    Mountain Dulcimer Players. This troupe, directed by Dennis Norwood, will entertain you with instumental folk music on truly American instruments developed in Appalachia in the 18th and 19th centuries.

    Celebrate the African American Read-In with a reading of "Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ear," beautifully illustrated by Leo and Diane Dillon, a husband and wife team who won the Caldecott Medal for their work on this classic African folk-tale. Leo was the first African-American artist to win the prestigious award.
