FUNDING INFORMATION CENTER ORIENTATION Programs

The Library’s Funding Information Center is a cooperating collection of the Foundation Center of New York City. The orientation, held quarterly in January, April, July and October, gives researchers background on foundations and how to contact them and research their giving interests. Resources available through the Internet and use of the Foundation Center’s electronic database of foundation information is included. The mechanics of grant writing are not addressed. An online orientation to the grant-seeking process is available from the Foundation Center.

The next orientation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 9:00 AM in the Harrison room at Library Center , 4653 South Campbell  [map]. For more information on the free orientation, or to register, call 882-0714.

For further information on library resources for grant-seekers, visit the Library’s Nonprofit Prophet.
