    Join us for a Racing to Read storytime at the Howard Smith Community Park where we’ll launch a StoryWalk® featuring "Leaves" by award-winning author David Ezra Stein. StoryWalks® combine three important elements that promote learning: reading, moving and enjoying the outdoors. After we read our StoryWalk® title, we’ll walk along the trail and enjoy the book displayed on signs along the way. The "Leaves" StoryWalk® will be available through October. Co-sponsored by the City of Strafford.

    From Allergies to Zika Virus, the Good and Bad of the Immune System. Dr. Chris Lupfer, with the Department of Biology at Missouri State University, will discuss current research on the benefits and harmful aspects of the immune system as it relates to infections, allergies and autoimmune diseases .
