  • Holiday Store for Kids
    Ash Grove Branch Library
    8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for infants-age 18.
    Shopping for families, friends and teachers is affordable and fun at the Library’s annual Holiday Store. Kids through age 18 can shop at the "store" for gifts priced from 25 cents to $6. Friends of the Library volunteers will help young children shop for everyone on their gift list, purchase and wrap their gifts.
  • Holiday Open House
    Ash Grove Branch Library
    8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the community room for all ages.
    Help us ring in the holiday season with fun activities, refreshments, and Christmas movies “How the Grinch Stole Christmas," not rated, “White Christmas,” not rated, and “The Santa Clause,” rated PG. The Ash Grove Christmas parade will pass right in front of the library. Kids can shop at the Holiday Store at the same time!

    10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. in the meeting room A for infants-age 18.

  • Holiday Open House: Holiday Luau
    Library Center
    10 a.m.-noon in the auditorium for all ages.
    Celebrate the holidays with a tropical luau! Join us for crafts, activities and games. Santa will make a special appearance from 11 a.m.-noon. Artists David Faught and Nate Howard will show kids how to create fun holiday cards from 10-11 a.m. followed by an all ages Draw Along from noon-1 p.m. Materials will be provided.
  • Holiday Open House
    Midtown Carnegie Branch Library
    10 a.m.-noon in the Teen Room for all ages.
    Kick off the holiday season with holiday stories, treats and crafts. Materials will be provided. We'll have free photos with Santa Claus from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Kids can shop in the Holiday Store from noon-3 p.m.
  • Science Saturdays
    Fair Grove Branch Library
    10 a.m.-noon for all ages.
    Join us every month for beautifully filmed documentaries about our planet and its wonders. "Sacred Planet," rated G

    Let's kick off the Holiday Store with crafts, games, and activities for the whole family! Drop in from 10 a.m.-noon to make holiday crafts, nibble some snacks and enjoy fun family activities. Santa will visit to hear all your holiday wishes from 11 a.m.-noon. Bring your camera!
