    As we get ready for our branch renovation, visit the Children's Department and fill out a heart that lists all the ways you love the Brentwood Branch! We'll display your hearts throughout the month to show our love for Brentwood's past, present and future!
  • Be My Valentine Storytime
    Ash Grove Branch Library
    9:30 a.m. in the community room for infants-age 6.
    Celebrate the holiday of love with Valentine's Day stories, songs and activities.
  • Racing to Read Storytime
    Ash Grove Branch Library
    9:30 a.m. for infants-age 6.
    Our interactive storytimes introduce young children to books, reading and language with stories, songs and activities. Parents learn fun ways to build the early literacy skills their children need to learn to read.
  • Edge Mobile Class: Downloading Made Easy
    Brentwood Branch Library
    10 a.m.-noon in the community room for adults.
    Learn how to download, install and uninstall a program, and explore different types of downloads, PDFs and streaming. We'll also talk about how to protect your computer from malware using antivirus programs. Prerequisites: Internet Basics and experience using keyboard and mouse. Registration starts January 1; call 883-1974.

    Midtown Carnegie Branch Library
    10 a.m. in the Children's Department for infants-age 6.
    Our interactive storytimes introduce young children to books, reading and language with stories, songs and activities. Parents learn fun ways to build the early literacy skills their children need to learn to read.
  • Love Birds!

    Fall in love with birds as we read bird stories, sing bird songs and make a yummy bird feeder at our chirpy Racing to Read Storytime.

    Pete the Cat loves Valentine's Day! Celebrate like Pete would as you listen to stories and songs and make a groovy valentine for someone special. Materials will be provided.

  • Edge Mobile Class: Learn it! Self-Paced Tutorials
    Brentwood Branch Library
    1-3 p.m. in the community room for adults.
    You can choose what you want to learn and go at your own speed with our self-paced tutorials. We provide the computer and you select from a wide variety of lessons designed specifically for individual learning. Topics include basic skills, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Gmail, Photoshop and more. Both interactive and video tutorials are available to fit your learning style. We also offer computer-instructed keyboarding lessons to help you learn to type or improve your typing skills. Prerequisites: Some experience using a keyboard and mouse Registration starts January 1; call 883-1974.
  • Teen Friday Nights
    Library Station
    6-8 p.m. in the Frisco Room for grades 6-12 unless specified.
    If it's Friday night, there's something going on at the Station just for teens.
