  • Library Station - Babaloo!
    Library Station
    6 p.m. in the Frisco Room for grades K-5.
    Babaloo is a one-man musical comedy act for kids. His show is fun, fast-paced, and packed full of audience participation. You'll witness hilarious original tunes, flying bean-bags, billions of bubbles and five-gallon bucket beating, not to mention a sky full of flying toilet paper. Get ready to laugh, sing, dance and make big noise with the award-winning Babaloo.
  • Library Center - Missouri's Meteorite Impact Structures: Three Strikes and a Hypothesis is Out?
    Library Center
    7 p.m. in the auditorium for adults.
    Weaubleau, Decaturville and Crooked Creek are meteorite impact structures that are aligned across the Missouri Ozarks. Some investigators have suggested that they resulted from serial impacts comparable to the Shoemaker-Levy 9 cometary impacts on Jupiter in 1994. Learn about meteorite impact structures and more from Dr. Kevin Evans, geology professor at Missouri State University. An Explore Space event.
  • Library Center - Intergalactic Spray Paint Art
    Library Center
    7 p.m. in the Story Hour Room for grades 6-12.
    Join artist Taylor Hopkins as he demonstrates how to make space-themed art using spray paint. Then work together to create a giant picture of outer space to display in the library. Materials will be provided. An Explore Space event. Registration starts July 11; call 616-0526.
