Block Party at Brentwood Branch Library September 7

Gather your family, friends and neighbors for a FREE Block Party from 2-5 p.m.on Sunday, September 7, in the parking lot of the southeast Springfield facility located at 2214 Brentwood Blvd. Parking will be available in the lot across the street at the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, the co-host of this community appreciation event.

It’ll be fun for all ages with refreshments, games and music from ‘hillgrass’ band Lost Hill, featuring Mike Williamson, Dan O’Day, Kenny Key and Brian Grim. Leo the Library Lion will be on prowl to see all his favorite friends and our firemen friends from Fire Station #7 on East Sunshine are bringing their fire truck for you to look at! Use this chance to register to vote with the League of Women Voters and ensure that you don’t miss this opportunity to exercise one of your most important rights this November.
