The threat of rain this afternoon [April 22] did not dampen the spirits of those interested in learning about and purchasing a rain barrel collection system during the "Celebrate Earth Day Rain Barrel Workshop and Sale" sponsored by James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) and the City of Springfield at the Library Center. The promise of rain seemed to excite people about the potential of the reclamation systems, as the stock of rain barrels supplied by JRBP sold out in 20 minutes!
JRBP is taking the names of those who would still like to purchase a rain barrel collection system and will be placing another order. If you would like to be added to the list, contact our water-conserving friends at 836-6183, visit www.jamesriverbasin.com or e-mail tfrey@MissouriState.edu.
