The Library's Early Literacy Program

Tiny Tip

Come to the Library Center on Saturday, November 1st at 10:15 a.m. for Baby Book Club, a storytime for the youngest readers. We'll read books, sing songs and play with scarves, for infants to 12 months.

Play and talk together!

About Racing to Read

Early literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they learn how to read and write. Reading, talking, singing and playing with children from birth make learning to read easier!

Bring your child to a library branch near you to discover all the Library has to offer, including storytimes, play-and-learn centers, creative, knowledgeable staff and, of course, books. For more information, email racingtoread@thelibrary.org.
