PLAY

Rub-a-dub-dub, Shapes in the Tub!

Bathtime is a great time to explore shapes! Draw shapes in soap bubbles or cut some basic shapes out of sponges for squeezable fun.  Talk about how they are similar and different.  These experiences will prepare your baby's brain to learn letters in a few years!

SING

The Eensy, Weensy Spider and The Great Big Spider

The Eensy Weensy Spider
Climbed up the water spout. (Thumbs and point fingers climb up each other)
Down came the rain (Raise hands and lower them while wriggling fingers)
And washed the spider out. (Sweep arms to the side)
Out came the sun (raise hands above head to form circle)
And dried up all the rain,
and the Eensy Weensy Spider

Climbed up the spout again (repeat as before).

The Great Big Spider

Down came the rain (Raise hands and lower them while wriggling fingers)
And washed the spider out. (Sweep arms to the side)
Out came the sun (raise hands above head to form circle)
And dried up all the rain,
and the Great Big Spider
Climbed up the spout again. (repeat as before).
