Have you ever noticed your baby play with her food by pushing it around her high chair tray with her fingers? She is making her first attempts at writing! While her marks don't have meaning yet, she is discovering that she can make them, which is the first step. Have fun with this stage by placing her in her high chair and putting a small amount of baby food, pudding or even non-toxic paint on the tray. No need to worry about paper yet; just let your little one explore and move it around. Then it will be a perfect time for a bath!
