A Talk & Read Activity for Toddlers

Where is the...?

Talk & Read Explore lots of words with your child.

PLAY

Where is the...?

Your toddler might be starting to say a few words but is learning many every day! Expand on your little one's vocabulary by playing a simple word game. Look around the room and ask where a familiar item is. "Where is your truck?" Your child will point to the truck and you can take the opportunity to expose her to more words by saying, "You're right! Your truck is under the table!" Words like under, behind and on top are harder to visualize, so games like this make learning them easy and fun!

SING

Jack be Nimble

Jack be nimble,

Jack be quick!

Jack jump over the candlestick!

Bounce your little one as you say the rhyme. Bounce high on the last line!
