Letters are everywhere, even in our food! There are lots of ways to explore letters while you eat and cook. Have fun making magic letters on your child’s toast!  Use a small brush to write a letter on a piece of bread using milk.  Toast the bread and the letter will magically appear!


SING

The Alphabet Song Backwards and Forwards

A-B-C-D-E-F-G, H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P, Q-R-S, T-U-V, W-X-Y-Z.

Now I know my ABC’s,
Next time sing them backwards with me.

Z-Y-X-W-V-U-T, S-R-Q-P-O-N-M, L-K-J, I-H-G, F-E-D, C-B-A.

Now I’ve said my ZYX’s,
Bet that’s not what you expected!
