Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild, Inc.

The Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild is a fellowship of people who are interested in preserving and sharing the art of quilting, encouraging community awareness of quilting and related arts, and sharing the enjoyment of quilting. The organization has 300 members.

Anyone interested in the art of quiltmaking is welcome to join the Guild. Membership offers many opportunities to all levels of quilters, from the beginner to the most advanced. The Guild is a place to meet other quilters, form lifelong friendships and add to your knowledge of quilting and the quilting world. It offers you the opportunity to contribute to the community and to the Guild through serving on committees and helping with projects.

General meetings are held in Springfield on the fourth Tuesday of each month (dates may change because of holidays). The day meeting is held at Deliverance Temple, 2101 West Chestnut Expressway, between Kansas Expressway and Scenic. The evening meeting is held at Westway Center, 2837 West Chestnut Expressway, between Scenic and West Bypass.

Monthly meetings begin at 10:00am and 6:00pm. Guest speakers are quilt artists from outside the Guild as well as artists within the Guild. A business meeting and "Show and Tell" segment follow the program.

All guests are invited to attend two meetings and asked to pay a $5 fee for any meeting with a national speaker.

The Guild's website has many photographs of members' handiwork and pictures of members participating in a variety of activities.
