Design-A-Bookmark Contest for Grades 7-12

7th Annual Contest for Teens

What do you like best about the Library? Checking out the latest releases from your favorite authors or music artists? Playing games on the computer? Hanging with your friends in a comfortable place?

Whatever it is, create a design on a library- or book-related theme, and enter our annual Design-a-Bookmark Contest for teens.

First-place winning designs will be printed on full-color bookmarks to be distributed at the libraries and at community events throughout the year. Winning entries and runners-up will be posted on the Library's website.

Three winners and three runners-up will be selected in each category: Grades 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. Winners in each grade category will receive a $20 gift certificate to Hobby Lobby. Winners will be announced during an awards reception at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, in the Library Center auditorium.

View last year's winners and runners-up by clicking the links above. Download an entry form (pdf) or pick one up at any Springfield-Greene County Library or bookmobile.

Those in grades K-6 may participate in the contest for kids.

Deadline for entries is March 15.
