6-7:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room for grades 6-12.
All teens are welcome to come and chat about your favorite books and movies and play games with friends. Earn volunteer credit by helping plan Library events that you want to attend.

Lost on Mars LARP - Library Center
3-4:30 p.m. in the auditorium for grades 4-8.
You have just arrived on Mars and now have to set up a colony, find food and learn to live in space. As you settle into your new home, people start to get sick and are attacked by a mysterious presence. Come LARP (live action role play) with us and see if you can survive living on Mars! An Explore Space event. Registration starts June 1; call 616-0526

The Science of "Star Wars" - Library Center
6 p.m. in the meeting room B for grades 6-12.
Since 1977, the "Star Wars" movies featured technologies that became realities; others we may never see. Learn about the science behind the "Star Wars" movies from Professor Rob Powers, science teacher at the Summit Preparatory School, and make your own light saber (not currently a science reality!) to take home. Materials will be provided. An Explore Space event.
