PICTURE THIS: A WORLD WITHOUT PEOPLE
Of all the losses they experience, the survivors in "Station Eleven" face a world without people, which brings us to your challenge: With your camera, capture your view of "A World Without People." Your photo may be submitted between January 2 and February 25, 2018.
What we need:
- Original, print photographs; can be taken with any camera including cell phones or other portable devices. Prints must be 8" x 10" inches or larger; mats not required.
- Completed entry form with photo; one entry per person. Download the complete guidelines and entry form (pdf) or pick one up at any library branch.
Who many enter:
Youth age 12-17; adults age 18 and older. Entrants must be Springfield-Greene County Library District cardholders.
Drop off entries at any branch of the Library District, or mail to Springfield-Greene County Library District, Attn: Kathleen O'Dell, 4653 S. Campbell Ave., Springfield, MO. 65810.
What you win!
- A panel of judges will select first-place and second-place winners in each age category. Winners will be awarded prizes at a reception on March 2 at the Park Central Branch Library.
- Winning entries and select submissions will be displayed in the libraries March–April 2018.
