Suit Up for Super "Star Wars" Saturday Dec. 9
Patrons of all ages are invited to attend Super “Star Wars” Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway.
Join the Jedi fun with “Star Wars”-themed games, activities, photo-ops and more to celebrate the upcoming release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Costumes welcome.
- 11 a.m. Bibliobop in “Star Wars”-style with lightsabers and more!
- 1-4 p.m. for grades 1-6 in the Story Hour Room: S.T.E.A.M. Train: “Star Wars” Edition: Explore electricity using Snap Circuits®, Squishy Circuits® and paper circuits, and make a cool “Star Wars” project that lights up.
- 1-5 p.m. for all ages in the Frisco Room: “Star Wars”-themed games.
- 1-9 p.m. for age 13 and older: Start at the Reference Desk and work your way through the library in a “Star War”-themed scavenger hunt.
- 2-5 p.m. for age 13 and older in the Santa Fe Room: Super “Star Wars” Saturday Role Playing Game. Join the Jedi fun during our special “Star Wars”-themed RPG. Registration required; call 616-0683.
- 6:30 p.m. for age 13 and older in the Frisco Room: Watch “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” rated PG-13, on the big screen with a light snack provided.
