Harry Potter, Contract Bridge, Poetry, Live Music: It's All Happening at the Library
Seems everbody is wild about Harry. The Library is, too. Harry Potter, that is.
September kicks off a three-month series of programs honoring Harry Potter’s introduction to the U.S. 20 years ago. Through November, the libraries are featuring a “wizarding workshop,” the animals of Harry Potter, a Harry Potter STEAM tournament, a Potter Game Show, Quidditch for teens and more.
Kids in grades 2-12 can pick up a Potter Passport at any branch or Mobile Library, get it stamped at five libraries, and turn it in for an exclusive invitation to the Yule Ball in January 2019. Get a program of all the Potter events at the libraries or visit thelibrary.org/programs for events at your favorite branch.
