Embrace the Simple Pleasures of Winter with Help from the Library

The Danes have this whole winter doldrums and holiday-stress thing figured out. They practice Hygge, or “hoo-gah,” a Danish word for a mood of coziness, with feelings of wellness and contentment.

The idea is to find ways to enjoy the simple pleasures of winter, and the library has a host of books to help you. Just visit thelibrary.org/catalog to reserve one of these librarian-recommended titles, and enjoy your winter.
