Opa! It's a Greek Wine Tasting to Benefit the Library Foundation March 2

The Library Foundation promotes charitable giving to the library and invests those funds to supplement public funding for the 10 branches. But no one said we can’t have fun doing it!

So the Foundation is throwing a benefit Greek wine tasting complete with appetizers and Greek dancing – Opa!

The One Big Party is from 7-9 p.m. March 2 at The Annex By Arris’ Pizza, 1332 E. Republic Road. The event is for guests 21 and older. Tickets are $50 per person and are available online at yourlibraryfoundation.org, or call 616-0586.

Channel your inner god – or goddess – at the photo booth, and watch – or join in! – authentic Greek dancing featuring the St. Thomas the Apostle Greek Festival Dancers.

One Big Party is the Library Foundation’s celebration of the library’s “one book, one community” One Read, which this year features the title “Circe” by best-selling author Madeline Miller. The author will speak at the Library Center on April 11, too. Learn about more upcoming events at thelibrary.org/oneread.
