Get crafting! Library Offers Creativebug Arts and Crafts Site
The Library just launched a new online offering – Creativebug, with art and crafting lessons for kids, teens and adults.
Creativebug has more than 1,000 art and craft classes for all ages, taught by expert instructors. You’ll find classes on topics such as drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, baking and more. You can download patterns, templates and recipes, and access community galleries and forums.
Access it from thelibrary.org/creativebug. A link is also listed on thelibrary.org/research. On your first visit, you’ll be asked for your library card number, then prompted to create an account with your name, email address, and password.
Using your library card and getting Creativebug with no sign-up cost is a money saver. A personal subscription to Creativebug would cost about $7.99 a month, or almost $100 per year.
