Park Central and Fair Grove Branch Libraries to Reopen June 22
The Park Central and Fair Grove branch libraries will reopen to the public at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 22. The two branches were offering only walk-up service when the other eight branches reopened on May 26 after being closed since March 17 to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
Hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday through Aug. 31, the same as the other branches. The Park Central Branch will not extend hours for First Fridays through August.
To reduce the spread of COVID-19, all returns must be deposited in outdoor book drops. They will be quarantined for 72 hours, as recommended by health officials, and returned to the book shelves.
The Park Central Branch is at 128 Park Central Square in Springfield. The Fair Grove Branch is at 81 S. Orchard Blvd., Fair Grove.
