Heirloom Seed Garden: Seed Saving Basics 

Learn how to harvest and save pea, bean and tomato seeds from your favorite garden during this hands-on seed saving class for adults.It’s Saturday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m.-noon at the Heirloom Seed Garden, 1471 N.  Celebrate World Honey Bee Day (August 21) with a screening of this bee-utiful and surprising story, rated TV-G. Join us Saturday, Aug. 20, 1-3 p.m., in the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library upstairs meeting room. For adults.

Martin Dohrn, veteran wildlife cameraman and bee enthusiast, embarked on a challenge during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, filming all the bees he could find in his tiny urban garden in Bristol, England. By the end of the summer, he became bee obsessed and developed relationships with them.
