Do you have a space enthusiast in your household? Help them celebrate the launch of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope with a special Library Take-Out! The launch is scheduled for December 22nd and a special Library Take-Out will be available at all Library branches and the Mobile Library from December 13-18. Make a Galaxy Pinwheel and a Star Gazer and learn more about this amazing telescope.

A few quick facts:

  • The James Webb Space Telescope is 100 times more powerful than its predecessor, the Hubble Space Telescope.
  • It will orbit the sun 1 million miles away from Earth.
  • It weighs 13,700 lbs. which is about the same as a school bus!
