It's beginning to warm up so it's a great time to get outside and explore the outdoors! Take the library along with you by checking out one of our new Adventure Backpacks. Choose from birdwatching or nature exploration topics to help guide your family’s adventures! Each backpack contains themed picture, board and non-fiction books, activity suggestions, field guides, binoculars and Leave No Trace Ethics Cards. In the Nature Exploration backpacks, you’ll also find a dip net, magnifying glass and Port-O-Bug container! Request one through thelibrary.org/catalog by searching "nature exploration adventure backpack" or "birdwatching adventure backpack". The Adventure Backpacks were funded by Gregory S. Beard and the Republic Walmart and developed by staff of the Springfield-Greene County Library.
