David L. Harrison’s Night of the Frog…A Frog-friendly Family Night! Library Center 6:30 p.m. for ages 4-8 and families Help us celebrate the release of David Harrison's newest book. With lyrical prose and brilliant illustrations, "And the Bullfrogs Sing" explores the life cycle of the bullfrog whose bovine sounding "jug-o-rum" can be heard for more than half a mile. Sing frog songs with Judy Domeny Bowen, participate in an interactive frog "chorus" and enjoy a dramatic reading of the book led by Mr. Harrison. Stick around for a jumping contest, coloring activities and to learn more about frogs and their role in our environment from our friends with Dickerson Park Zoo.
