Where can you read a book, exercise and enjoy our community's beautiful outdoor spaces? At one of the Library's StoryWalks®! StoryWalks® are books displayed page-by-page along a trail or path and are a fun way for families to enjoy the outdoors and read at the same time. Here are the next chances to catch a StoryWalk® this summer:
August 11-24 at the Fairbanks, 1126 N. Broadway Ave. in Springfield: "Frog in a Bog" by Karma Wilson.
August 12-September 2 at the Railroad Historical Museum in Grant Beach Park, 1300 N. Grant Ave. in Springfield: "Thank You, Omu" by Oge Mora.
August 25-September 7 at the Fairbanks, 1126 N. Broadway Ave. in Springfield: "Squirrels Leap, Squirrels Sleep by April Pulley Sayre.
September 8-21 at the Fairbanks, 1126 N. Broadway Ave. in Springfield: "Cat's Colors" by Airlie Anderson.
Head outside and enjoy a story, some exercise and some lovely trails!
